Outcome: Encouraging and building up talents in children

A program was conducted on the 16th of November 2021 at Government LP School

, Vemballur @10.00 AM to 12.30 PM regarding CHILDRENS DAY. All the NSS

Volunteers who were in charge of the program was present at the school

hall on time. Childrens of the school who was the main attraction of the day

was also present on time in costumes of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal

Nehru.

On behalf of the special guests Mrs.Reshma (20th ward member) and

Mrs.Shobha(Block member), NSS Programme officer DR Ansar, NSS volunteers

and childrens the program started with the NSS song by Ms.Vismaya[NSS

Volunteer]. Welcome speech was delivered by Mr.Riyas[NSS Volunteer]

followed by the presidential address by Mrs.Krishna and the inaugural speech

by Mrs.Reshma.Both of them delivered simple and common knowledge about

childrens day. The program was anchored throughout by Ms.Aleena[NSS

Volunteer]. Felicitation was delivered by DR.Ansar[NSS Programme Officer]. In

the absence of Mrs.Omana( School Head Mistress), we started the game

section.

In the coordination of Mr.Riyas many simple and interesting games were

conducted. We all were so lively and happy while attending that program.

These programs helped us to have a very good interaction between those cute

kids present in the school.

All these programs were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners.

As a token of love, we served them with small chocolates.

The program ended with a vote of thanks by Mr.Avin[NSS Volunteer].

61. WASTE MANAGEMENT SURVEY, SN PURAM GRAMAPANJAYATH 15.11.2021

 MEETING 

A meeting was held by Sreenarayanapuram Grama panchayat about the solid waste management survey on 15/11/2021 at Thevar palace auditorium SN Puram. The meeting started at 2:30 pm. Both the NSS program officers Dr. Princy Francis and Dr. Ansar E B and 3 NSS secretaries attended the meeting.  It was about conducting a survey about cleaning and reinstating the natural flow of Kanoli Kanal, streams, and rivers that comes under the panchayat.

   The NSS volunteers meeting of units 53&95 of MES Asmabi P Vemballoor was held on the 12th of November 2021 at the college auditorium. The meeting started at 1 pm noon and was presided by our respective program officers Dr. Princy Francis and Dr. Ansar E B.A total of 85 students attended the meeting.

   NSS volunteer Vismaya started off the program by singing an NSS song. The main agenda of the meeting was to plan further programs and activities for the upcoming month. A total of five programs were finalized and the main coordinators and 5 members of the working committee were introduced.

   The first program was a children's day celebration at Govt.LP school vemballoor and was coordinated by Riyas. The second one was the Anti-ragging campaign an and Avin is the coordinator. Next up is the renovation of Gurukulam coordinated by Amthan, swap shop by Jaseem, and ginger farming by Nabeel. The names of volunteers interested in participating in these programs were noted down by respective coordinators.

   Both the program officers reminded all the volunteers to participate actively in every program and motivated them to bring new and innovative programs.NSS secretary Adhil K N gave the vote of thanks and the program was concluded by around 2 pm.

As a part of shifting of old items used in the Primary Health Centre P Vembellar, 5 NSS VOLUNTEERS of MES ASMABI COLLEGE NSS UNITS 53&95 participated in the shifting activities(14/11/2021) from 10 am to 2 pm and completed the whole shifting activities by following covid protocols.

As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Government of India

As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Government of India

Combined with Nehru Yuva Kendra Society has conducted

Clean India Campaign at iconic/historical places.

From our area, they have selected Muhammed Abdurahman Sahib

museum, Azhikode

The program was held on 21st October 2021

Starting at 9.00 am, many honorable personalities preside

In the inaugural function.

NSS Volunteers of MES Asmabi College, P. Vemballur and

NYKS volunteers have taken part in this program.

After the inaugural function, we had an oath on cleanliness

Then we all went to Azhikode Beach for collecting plastic

Wastes on the seashores which may destroy the

Natural beauty and ecosystem there.

The cleaning session has ended at 3.00 Pm and collected

Almost 13 bags of plastic wastes.
