INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSON WITH DISABILITIES

Attendees:

As part of International Day of persons with disabilities NSS

volunteers in coordination with HEPSN conducted a seminar

on the topic leadership and participation of persons with

disabilities towards an inclusive, accessible and sustainable

post-covid-19 world. The program started with a prayer by

Vismaya[NSS Volunteer] followed by the welcome speech by

Riyas[NSS Volunteer]. DR.A Biju[Principal MES Asmabi]

conveyed the presidential address and Jb. Salim Arakkal

[Secretary and Correspondent MES Asmabi]conveyed the

management address followed by the inaugural address by

Mr. PM Majeed[Vice president, Kerala Handicaped

Association of India. After that the keynote address was

conveyed by special guest Ms. Rajeshwari M K[First wheel

chair anchor in India].

Our NSS volunteers succeded to make

contact with the most appropriate resource person on this

day to deliver the keynote and inaugural address. Their life

the journey itself is the best inspiration. It was a pride moment for

us to have Ms. Rajeshwari as our special guest. Most of the

humans in our society are rich with health wealth and talent

but they don’t know how to use it appropriately, in such a

living condition it is a great honor that she had conquered

great heights which normal handicapped people can't even

dream.

Felicitation for the program was conveyed by

Dr.Sakkeena M K[HESPN Program Officer], Dr. Ansar E B and

Dr. Princy Francis[NSS program officers]. The program ended

with a vote of thanks by NSS volunteer Shamil.

77. COLLEGE AUDITORIUM CLEANING







 Report: Auditorium cleaning

Venue: MES Asmabi college Auditorium

NSS volunteers of MES Asmabi college has cleaned the college auditorium on 02 -12-2021(Thursday ) @ 4:00 pm under the coordination of Hayfa .P. Everyone give the best support and coordination towards

them.NSS Volunteers Dilse Mariyam P.P, Afeefe M.V, Iffath Ashiqa, Riswana V.N, Ruksana participate in the programme. The programme went well. About 5:00 pm they cleaned all around the

auditorium.

Outcome:To inform the importance of pollution control

A program was conducted on 02 November 2021 at Room no :53 @11.30 AM

to 12.30 PM regarding POLLUTION CONTROL DAY. All the NSS Volunteers who

were in charge of the programme was present at the Room no:53 on time.The

participants were 1 year UG Students and they participated very well

These programs helped us to have a very good interaction between the young

artist in the college.

WORLD AIDS DAY QUIZ COMPETITION

World AIDS Day brings together people from around the world to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and demonstrate international solidarity in the face of the pandemic.


The day is an opportunity for public and private partners to spread awareness about the status of the pandemic and encourage progress in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care around the world. It has become one of the most widely recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have died, and celebrate victories such as increased access to treatment and prevention services.


The quiz competition was conducted through Google form on behalf of WORLD AIDS DAY. There were a good response to this quiz competition.
