A webinar on old age Wellness, issues, and local level intervention possibilities was conducted online through zoom meet(https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84435392041?pwd=N1ZiellKWDI2YmVSeVZhZTh1Q0pxQT09) on 24-07-2021 @ 7.00pm. The chief guest of the day was Dr. Jayakrishnan Thayyil, professor dept. of community medicine. 70 Nss volunteers and two program officers named Dr. Princy Francis and Dr. Ansar.E. B participated in the webinar.NSS volunteers named Ms. Rasha anchored the webinar. The prayer was delivered by the NSS volunteer Ms. Avani Nandha. Welcome speech was delivered by the NSS volunteer Ms. Akhila followed by the presidential address by Dr. Ansar E. B, NSS program officer. Moderation in this program was made by Dr. Amitha Bachan k.h, Assistant professor m e s Asmabi college, and Afrin Faizal, the best volunteer award winner. The felicitation was made by Dr. Princy Francis, NSS program officer. The importance of old age Wellness and their issues and local level intervention possibilities are delivered by Dr. Jayakrishnan Thayyil, professor dept. Of community medicine. The moderator Afrin Faizal, the best volunteer award winner shared her moments in pain and palliative wing in NSS. The winner was ended with the vote of thanks by Ms.Mariyam Haseeba.

A webinar On old age Wellness, issues and local level intervention possibilities Was conducted online through Zoom meet (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88472732501?pwd=Zk01bXBjT3RPaDIvNVpMeWZPVUZRQT09) on 03-08-2021.The chief guest of the program was E. T Tayson Master, MLA. The program was coordinated by Edavilangu grama panchayat and pain and palliative group, NSS MES asmabi college. NSS volunteer and two program officers named Dr.Princy Francis and Dr. Ansari E. B Participated in the webinar. The program was scheduled in Two sessions. @ 10.30 am appreciation of old people above 100 years ago was made. The welcome speech is made by CV Mithran, program committee member. Moderation of the program was made by C.A Abdul Bashir, social activist. The presidential address was delivered by Ms. Bindu Radhakrishnan, Edavilangu Panchayat president. Inauguration of appreciating old age people was made by E. D Tayson master, MLA. Greetings of program is made by K.K Mohanan( vice president of Edavilangu panchayath), Ms. Nisha p.r ( chair person of aarogya standing committee ), Ms. Subhi Pramod arakkal ( administrative member), M. A Haridas ( administrative member), Ms. Josmi taytos ( administrative member), Manoj KS ( health inspector, Primary Health Centre Edavilangu). The video presentation of experiences of homecare members was played in this wonderful moment. This video presentation help to know how to take care for old age people.

Inaugural speech was delivered by Ad: Monisha lijin ( mathilakam block panchayath member ) the panel discussion was made by Dr Ramla ( Pain and Palliative care,Thrissur), Dr Anjana ( department of family medicine, Dhaya Hospital,Thrissur ) Ms. NoorJahan T.M ( Pain and Palliative nurse), Ms. Sunitha muraleedharan ( Asha Worker), Munawar zaman ( NSS volunteer, MES asmabi college), Ms. Fasna (student in palliative care), vote of thanks was made by Ms. jiji Joseph, superintendent of nurse ( Dhaya Hospital)
